The rooms are available from 3 PM on your arrival day. Do you want to arrive earlier? We'll store your luggage and you can get and out. This also applies to departure. Check-out time is 11 AM.

Studio Piet Stockmans
Studio Piet Stockmans is the only company in Belgium that develops hard porcelain. The material and its production are identical to that of the best porcelain manufacturers in Bavaria and Limoges. This year, Pieter Stockmans will celebrate his 50-year anniversary of working with porcelain.
Since setting up his studio in 1987, Pieter Stockmans has been exhibiting all over the world. Besides selling his work to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, he was also made cultural Ambassador of Flanders and has been awarded numerous prizes, including The Red Dot Award.
One of the studio’s milestones was the development and production of the plate for Albert of Monaco’s wedding to Charlene Wittstock in 2011. Additionally the studio has developed tableware for a large number of Michelin star chefs such as Alain Ducasse (Louis XV - Monaco), Simon Taxacher (Rosengarten – AU), Peter Goossens (Hof van Cleve – B) and Sergio Herman (Pure C - NL).

Terhills Cablepark
Terhills Cablepark is famous for waterskiing and wakeboarding, which is suitable for young and old. You are connected to an electrically driven cable, where you can be pulled over the water along with other people. Cable water skiing is similar to snow skiing in the way that you glide over the surface. Wakeboarding is very popular with younger people because of all the tricks and stunts they can do thanks to the obstacles in the water. Additionally, Terhills Cablepark has three cables, one is suitable for beginners.

Barefoot path
You don't need shoes on the first barefoot path of Flanders in Zutendaal. The surface of wood, stones, tree chips, grass, clay and water gives you a special feeling. For two kilometers a barefoot stimulation of senses, a special experience.

C-mine
The renovated mine buildings today are home to designers and artists such as ceramic artist Piet Stockmans, the design and fashion academy, but also trendy eateries and the Euroscoop. You can also visit the C-mine expedition. A unique (interactive) experience course in the Winterslag mine buildings through underground corridors and ending on the 60-meter-high shaft with a phenomenal view of the region.

Open Air Museum Bokrijk & the Sixties
The Bokrijk Open Air Museum takes you back to the past. For example to the square where the church bells are ringing, the pastor practices his thunder speech, the mushroom patrols and the farmer and peasant woman work on the farm. You are introduced to long-forgotten Flemish crafts. Did you experience the 60's and do you miss them? Or did you miss this period and would you like to experience it?
